WIN Relay is a first-of-its-kind experience from the global non-profit Women in Innovation designed to support senior women working in innovation to grow in their careers, prepare to lead the industry, and advance a more equitable future.

What is WIN Relay?

A cohort-based leadership development experience, WIN Relay will connect senior women working in innovation with a diverse group of industry leaders — from Chief Innovation Officers, innovation consultancy executives and startup founders.

Over 6 months, we’ll come together for a series of intimate dialogues to learn about the paths these leaders navigated, synthesize what we learn in a supportive peer to peer environment, and publish a guide so that more women have access to this career-advancing knowledge.

WHY WIN RELAY?

WIN Relay was imagined and designed by women working in the innovation industry to intentionally address the biggest gaps they saw in existing leadership development content and offerings. Embrace and champion diversity

We are the sum of multiple experiences in different frontiers of innovation. We will offer a select number of sponsorships to ensure diverse participation and intend to curate a cohort that is representative of the US population. The IP we publish will feature a range of voices to offer an unparalleled view into what’s possible in innovation leadership.

Foster intimacy, real conversation and community

We are making a concerted effort to foster intimacy and build trust so that conversation can be transparent and real. Our intention is to welcome each participant into a community of peers that will provide mutual support far beyond the end of this program.

 

Design for participation, risk taking and action

Many leadership development experiences leave a lot to be desired in terms of application. We balance ideas and stories with application and impactful action. WIN Relay has built-in opportunities for thought leadership, skill building and risk taking. We believe that the way to learn is to do.

Innovate together

This is a program designed for creative innovators, and, to that end, we will actually create and innovate together through individual and collective outputs.

 

THE PROGRAM

 
 
  • 6-month program designed to balance learning, connection and personal and professional growth

  • Carefully curated diverse and intimate participant cohort of senior women working across innovation in corporations, consulting and startups

  • Intimate conversations with executives leading the innovation industry designed to offer transparent advice and lessons learned

  • Dedicated, actionable opportunities to refine and develop your innovation mission and goals

  • Guidance on finding, executing and promoting the right thought leadership and an opportunity to put it into practice

  • Learn and hone coaching skills from executive coach and through peer coaching

  • Co-create IP to bring to life key learnings with the intention of defining and democratizing the path to innovation leadership

  • Graduates of WIN Relay will be the first cohort to receive a certification in Innovation Leadership from Women In Innovation, and have the opportunity to publish thought leadership on innovation growth paths

The DETAILS

 

WHO

~20 women with 12–15+ years of experience, and at least 5 years of leadership experience, who are dedicated to furthering their career in innovation and supporting other women in the process.

WHEN

Every Tuesday at 4pm pacific and 7pm eastern, starting on October 5th, 2021 and wrapping on April 12th, 2022 [subject to slight modification]

COST

$750

We are a non-profit and do not want cost to be a barrier to entry. For participants who have access to a professional learning budget through their employer, we are happy to support you in applying those funds to this program. A select number of scholarships will be awarded to support diverse participation.

 

HOW TO APPLY

Complete an application. We have designed the application process to ensure a diverse, but intimate cohort experience. While this means limiting numbers, our intention is to develop content that can be published broadly and be accessible to all.
